  • On 21st and 22nd of February 2008, I participated in IBM University Relations Leadership Exchange Forum in Lisbon, Portugal. I introduced EU-6th framework project Nepomuk to IBM University Relations staff and leaders of IBM Centers for Advanced Studies.
      
  • On 29-31 of January, I visited Paris and had meetings with Alexander Polonsky and Mikhail Kotelnikov (Cognium Systems), with Ludovic Dubost , Stéphane Laurière and Yachneet Pushkarna (XWIKI). I also met Michel Lara (IBM Paris Innovation Center program manager). I presented “IBM LanguageWare Miner for Multidimensional Socio-Semantic Networks” to several business partners at the Solutions Linux fair.
      
  • At the end of January 2008 I had a meeting with IBM alphaWorks business development team related to “IBM LanguageWare Miner for Multidimensional Socio-Semantic Networks”. The Irish Times published the article about IBM alphaWorks with particular emphasis on LanguageWare presence on alphaWorks ( The Irish Times February 1, 2008 Friday http://www.ireland.com/newspaper/finance/2008/0201/index.html)

    IBM describes alphaWorks as a key channel "for reaching an early adopter audience that is instrumental in shaping the future technology landscape". It allows anyone to get hold of alpha (ie early) code, experiment with it, and perhaps create their own innovations.
